Enjoy Japanese sake at Toyama Bar!

Toyama, located in the central north of Japan, is famous for its clean, pure water and delicious rice. High-quality water and rice are integral to brewing sake, a tasty traditional Japanese alcoholic beverage. So, Nihonbashi Toyama in Tokyo, a promotional shop run by the Toyama Prefectural Office, is the best place to taste and buy excellent sake. The shop offers various types of sake, including dry, sweet, and deep flavors, from 17 local brewers in Toyama Prefecture.

The Toyama Nihonbashi has a bar, Toyama Bar, inside, and it serves you a glass of sake at a reasonable price. I recommend trying the “Three Brands of Sake Trial” at 700 yen, which allows you to select three brands out of 17 (30ml per glass each) and helps you discover different tastes. You can order another glass of your favorite sake (30ml) for 200 yen or a 90ml glass for 700 yen. You can also buy a bottle of sake you like at the shop. The trail comes with a tapas of marinated small squid, Okizuke, which is quite popular among sake lovers.

I chose dry sake, sweet sake, and rich flavored sake. All the three were excellent!!

Please take a look at its official website if you’re interested.
