There are many bus tours to Mt. Fuji, and almost all of them take you to the 5th station of the mountain. When there is no rain and fog, it turns out to be one of the most impressive and amazing tourist destinations in Japan, However, tourists are often disappointed with dense fog and mists, which cover all the fantastic scenery. But you still have a place at the 5th station to experience the fundamental nature of Mt. Fuji. It’s the lovely path called Fujisan Ochudo, where you can enjoy forest walking at an altitude of higher than 2,400 meters.
The place is considered to be the highest limit where plants and trees survive. The atmosphere and vibes in the forest path may give you a short break from busy days visiting many places during your stay in Japan. Please walk the path and feel a calm and relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you so much for posting this! I’ve yet to visit Mount Fuji, and insider tips like this are so helpful. This is just the type of thing that interests me while traveling in Japan. 🙂
Hi, Sara. Thank you for your comment. Please visit Mt. Fuji next spring since the mountain is at the beginning of winter and is closed for a while.
