Mt. Fuji with a snow cap on its top

Many citizens living in my city, Yokohama, found Mt. Fuji putting a white snow cap on its top and have shared their photos on various social networks such as Instagram and Facebook since this morning. I got permission from the person taking this beautiful photo of Mt. Fuji to share it on my blog.

The cap on the top of Mt. Fuji tells us that winter is coming soon. The six access routes to the top have already been closed since September 10, and it will usually open in July. Please come back to Mt. Fuji next summer and visit Lake Kawaguchi in autumn or Kamakura in winter instead. You can see the elegant form of Mt. Fuji just behind the lake or from the Kamakura seaside, respectively.
