The cluster amaryllis (hurricane lily) festival in Kinchakuda Park in Saitama prefecture proudly shows us a brilliant red carpet of cluster amaryllis flowers. My daughter commented it looked like a scene from the “Kimetsu no Yaiba” (Demon Slayer) film.
According to the festival office, 50% of the flowers bloom and will be expected to bloom fully this weekend. The park is a bit far from central Tokyo, but it is worth visiting there to take photos if you are in the Tokyo area from the end of September to the beginning of October.
